From 1965 to 1966 John Fields took great photos around his hometown of Rockport, Massachusetts. One of these is his unique Clam-digger.

This photograph was taken by Fields returning from a very stormy voyage. Very soon thereafter both the vessel Anthony & Josephine and the house on Ten Pound Island were destroyed by fire.
