Signed l.r. black ink “-Fields-“inscribed top verso pencil "Henry Beston author of American Classic “The Outermost House” 1965”; his account of living on the dunes of Eastham Beach, Cape Cod, Massachussetts. The photo was made on the porch of his home at Nobleboro, Maine. The place was called Chimney Farm. He, his wife Elizabeth Coatsworth, and I had lunch.
