In the light of NZ's government backtracking on cutting class sizes in schools it appears they have grasped the desire for pupils to be nurtured. I was browsing a Latin dictionary a few days ago and discovered that 'educatio' from which we get our 'education' means in Latin 'nurture'. Hooray to good sense. Read more
